It is built on the banks of the lower dam, and comprises 4 dormitories consisting of 10 single bunk beds each, sleeping 20 people. In total the camp can accommodate 80 people. Each dorm has its own ablution block, with 4 showers, 4 basins and 4 toilets. The heart of the camp is a large outdoor braai area , with shaded seating. Adjacent to the braai area is the multi-purpose dining and function hall, with built-in tables and bench seating, a stage and two single rooms, accommodating one person each (group or tour leader, matron, etc.).
Cleared grounds surround the camp, with plenty of space for children to run around, play ball games and do what children like to do. Noise is not a problem, as the camp is 200m from the Lodge, so children can scream and shout, choirs can practice and churches can worship through the night.
